< What have you been doing since graduation? After graduating high school I went on to attend Virginia Military Institute where I studied business and economics and play baseball. After my junior year I was drafted in the 12th round the in MLB draft by then New York Yankees.
What are you doing now? Do you have one specific play or game you remember that stands out in your mind? If yes, please tell us what. I have quite a few plays and games that stuck out but to name a few, the first is my senior year when Jake Huggins hit the opposite field home run at Thomas Dale to win the conference championship. The second would be going to Franklin County in the conference semifinals my senior year and upsetting them at home.
What is one of your favorite memories of Cosby Baseball? My favorite memory from Cosby baseball was making it to the state tournament in my junior year. We had a great team that year and it was awesome being able to represent the school in the state tournament but unfortunately came up short in getting a ring. Another great memory was having the first undefeated season in Cosby baseball history my junior season.
How did Cosby Baseball help shape or prepare you for your future? Getting to play for Coach Lowery helped me prepare for the next level, he was a great coach who helped me take my game to the next level and excel in college. The way he ran the Cosby baseball program made transitioning into a college program a lot easier. He always pushed us to do the things the right way and the best of our abilities. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
