What have you been doing since graduation? I've been attending George Mason University and playing baseball there as well.
What are you doing now? I am currently spending the summer home with my family enjoying free time away from baseball and school work. I also have been playing the guitar and drums a lot as well as catching up with friends..
Do you have one specific play or game you remember that stands out in your mind? If yes, please tell us what. The one specific game that stands out in my mind was when we played Thomas Dale for the conference championship my senior year. We were doubted the whole season and struggled to get in a winning rhythm. That game, Christian Kaufmann comes in and pitches an absolute gem and Jake Huggins gives us a go ahead home run in the late innings. One of the best games I've ever been a part of because we came together as a team better than ever before and there was just so much energy that game. It also felt great beating Thomas Dale cause they beat us the first time we played them so there was some well deserved revenge.
What is one of your favorite memories of Cosby Baseball? One of my favorite memories of Cosby Baseball was the night at the hotel in Northern Virginia for the state semis my junior year. Although we lost that day, a bunch of us pulled all nighters and hung out, doing stupid stuff as a team for the last time that year. Although being on the field with the guys was great, hanging out with them in the hotel, locker room, or bus is the stuff I will always remember.
How did Cosby Baseball help shape or prepare you for your future? Cosby Baseball definitely prepared me for college baseball, what it took and all the hard work that I needed to put in to succeed as well as stay healthy. We were pretty blessed to have such a nice facility to work out at and get better so it definitely helped me grow as an athlete in general. Coach Lowery also had great insight as a coach and helped me with the process of choosing a school and pretty much any baseball aspects in my life. All of this definitely helped me prepare for the future. | ||||||||||||||||||
