 EASON, Susan- Of Malden, February 14th. Devoted wife of Richard F. Eason. Beloved daughter of Maria (Williams) Caffrey of Arlington and the late Richard Caffrey. Loving mother of Christianne Eason and Danielle Eason both of Malden. Dear sister of Sharon Stratford and her husband Paul, John Caffrey and his wife Janet and Jo Ellen McGinnity and her husband Tom. Also lovingly survived by 5 nieces and 6 nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Friday, February 20th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

Born in Malden 62 years ago, Susan passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Saturday morning. A graduate of Malden High School Class of 1970, she continued her studies at Merrimack College where she earned a bachelor degree in education and teaching. Spending her entire career at Melrose High School first as a teacher in Science and Anatomy, she ultimately was named the head of the Science department. Even after her day of teaching was done she would always volunteer in any and all school activities, whether dances or selling tickets for any school events, because she loved being a teacher at Melrose High School. A member of the American Association of University Woman (AAUW), she enjoyed knitting and reading in her spare time.
