KERRIGAN, Janet M. Age 85, passed away
                    peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2017. Born in
                    Brookline, Massachusetts on December 5, 1931, she
                    was the third of four daughters born to the late
                    James and Mary Kerrigan. She was raised in Newton,
                    Massachusetts and graduated from Newton High School
                    with the Class of 1949. As a young girl, Janet loved
                    visiting her family's home on Webster Lake in
                    Franklin, New Hampshire during the summer months.
                    Janet continued her education at Marymount College
                    in New York, earning her Bachelor's Degree in 1953
                    before earning her Master's Degree in Biology from
                    Catholic University in Washington, DC. Janet spent
                    16 years serving her Lord as a Nun with the
                    Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. She began her
                    ministry in education, serving as a teacher at
                    Marymount High School in Arlington, Virginia before
                    taking a position back in Massachusetts with the
                    Melrose Public Schools, working as a Biology Teacher
                    and School Counselor. Janet had a love for the
                    water, sailing, and playing golf, as such, she
                    enjoyed taking trips with friends to Myrtle Beach,
                    Hilton Head, and Nova Scotia. After her retirement,
                    in 1995, she sold her condo in Stoneham moving to
                    Rockport and later built a home in Gloucester to
                    overlook the Little River. In 2013, she sold her
                    home and settled into her new community, The Willows
                    in Westborough, Massachusetts. Loving sister of the
                    late Joan Kerrigan Morales, Martha Jones, and
                    Maureen A. Berry. Devoted aunt of 13 nieces and
                    nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to
                    attend Janet's Memorial Mass in Saint Mary's Church,
                    176 Washington Street, East Walpole on Saturday,
                    August 5, 2017 at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours are
                    respectfully omitted at the request of the family
                    and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers,
                    memorial donations in Janet's name may be made to:

 KERRIGAN, Janet M. Age 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2017.
