Iver Laine was
born on February 3, 1915, in Hennijoki, Lansi-Suomi,
Finland, the son of Josephine and Isack. He married
Harriett Marion Laine in 1939 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
They had three children during their marriage. He died on
February 19, 2002, in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, at
the age of 87, and was buried in Yarmouth, Massachusetts. |

Obituary Of South Yarmouth Feb. 19 at the age of
87, formerly of Melrose. Beloved husband of the late
Harriett M. (Downey) Laine. Father of Lois D. Arthur
of Wakefield, Robyn S. Lovering of Norton, and Richard
J. Laine of Duluth, GA. Also survived by 8
grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on
Thursday, February 21 at 1PM at the Hallett Funeral
Home, 273 Station Ave, SOUTH YARMOUTH. Burial will
follow in Chandler Gray Cemetery, West Yarmouth. Gifts
in his memory may be made to the Parkinson Disease
Association, 720 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02101. |
