Obituary

Linda Ann Day, age 60, of Lynn formerly of Melrose, passed away December 11, 2018, at the Kaplan Hospice in Danvers. She was the wife of Gregory G. Day. Born in Boston, MA; she was the daughter of H. Thomas Grant of Melrose and the late Lorraine (Nye) Grant.

Linda, with her family, moved to Melrose when she was ten. She was a graduate of Melrose High School in the class of 1976 and a communicant of St. Mary's Parish in Melrose where she and Greg were married.

Linda was employed as a clerk for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the past seventeen years; four years in the division of Worker's Compensation and thirteen years in the Department of Mass Health.

Linda looked forward to her summer vacations on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. She cherished the times she shared with her family, especially with her grandson, Cameron.

She was the mother of Jared Day and Andrea Day and grandmother of Cameron Coukos all of Lynn. She was the sister of Thomas, Michael and Sean Grant all of Saugus and Lisa White of Wilmington and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are from Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham on Monday, Dec. 17th at 9 A.M. followed by a funeral mass at 10 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 9 Herbert St., Melrose. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield. Visitation at the funeral home: Sunday, 2-5 P.M.
