Obituary

Scott J. Kelley passed away suddenly in Paris, France on Thursday, August 16, 2012. He was only 53 years of age.

Scott was born in Malden, was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1976. He graduated from American University in Washington D.C. and received his Master's in finance from UCLA. Mr. Kelley was a Senior Vice President of the entertainment division at City National Bank in Los Angeles, CA for over 30 years. Scott has been a resident of Los Angeles, CA for over 30 years; he liked traveling the world, movies, music and spending time with his friends. He loved his 2 dogs Hannah & Buddy and was a great supporter of the SPCA in Los Angeles.

Mr. Kelley was the cherished son of John J. & Patricia A. (Shinay) Kelley of Melrose. Loving brother of Kris J. Kelley & his wife Tammy of SC, Gregg J. Kelley & his wife Laura of Winchester, Rand J. Kelley of Melrose and Glen J. Kelley of Boston. Loving partner of Michael Murray of CA. Uncle of Andrew, Shane, Gregg Jr., Jake & Ryan Kelley. Also survived by several, aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dogs Hannah & Buddy.

Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. On Monday, August 28th from 4;00-8:00PM Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral services and burial will be private.
