Martha J. Fantasia, age 67, of Farmington, NH, passed away peacefully at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH on April 6, 2026.

She was born in Melrose, MA to Melrose Police Officer Joseph P. Martin & Mary L. (Daniels) Martin.
Martha met the “love of her life” in fifth grade, John, and they married in 1977.

In 1987, they fell in love with Farmington, NH and with their two children, made this wonderful community their home.
Martha worked for 33 years with Farmington’s pre-school and Kindergarten students and enjoyed that privilege every year.
Survived by her loving husband of 49 years: John S. Fantasia, and their children: Daniel J. (D.J.) & wife Stacey Fantasia, Maryann & husband David Anderson, grandchildren: Sandra (Fantasia) & husband Charlie Edney, Samantha Fantasia, Zachary Fantasia, Jonathan (J.D.) Anderson and Nathan Anderson, special Niece Bethany (Martin) Genewege, special sister (in-law) Norma Martin, special friend Cindy Chaput and special cat Tacoma.

Martha is preceded by her parents: Joseph P. “Pesty” & Mary L. “Kishie” Martin and beloved brothers: Warren F. Martin and Melrose Police Officer William R. Martin.
As per Martha’s request, there will be no services.
If desired, Memorial Donations may be made to: Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
